Samendormanz Cannabis (ABA/GA-Balance, Thermodormanz)
Kurzdefinition
Cannabis besitzt physiologische Primärdormanz (PD), gesteuert durch ABA/GA-Verhältnis (Langa 2024). Thermodormanz bei >30°C: sekundäre Dormanz durch Hitze-induzierte ABA-Re-Aktivierung — umkehrbar. After-ripening (Trockenlagervung) baut ABA ab → Dormanzabbau. Keine obligate Stratifikation erforderlich (Unterschied zu vielen Wildpflanzen).
Wissenschaftliche Beschreibung
Physiologische Primärdormanz (PD)
Regulatorische Balance:
ABA (Abscisinsäure) ↑ → Dormanz ↑ (Keimungshemmung)
GA (Gibberelline) ↑ → Keimung ↑ (Dormanzabbau)
Dormanztiefe = f(ABA/GA-Ratio, Reifegrad, Lagerung, Temperatur)
Während Samenreife (auf der Mutterpflanze): - ABA-Biosynthese (NCED-Enzyme) aktiv → ABA akkumuliert im reifen Samen - Funktion: Verhindert vivipare Keimung (Keimung noch am Mutterpflanze) - Grad der ABA-Akkumulation = Primärdormanz-Tiefe
Nach Ernte (After-ripening): - ABA-Katabolismus (CYP707A → ABA-8'-Hydroxylase) - Bei Trockenlagerung (niedrige aw) → ABA langsam abgebaut - GA-Sensitivität steigt → Keimungsbereitschaft steigt
Langa et al. 2024 — Geographische Variation der Dormanz
5 Cannabis-Landrassen untersucht: - Dormanztiefe variiert signifikant zwischen Landrassen - Korrelation mit ABA/GA-Verhältnis bestätigt - Geografischer Ursprung der Population beeinflusst Dormanztiefe → evolutionäre Anpassung an Klimabedingungen (Herbstregen-Timing etc.)
Thermodormanz: Sekundäre Dormanz durch Hitze
Mechanismus:
Keimfähige Samen (keine Primärdormanz) + >30°C Exposition
→ Hitze → Re-Aktivierung ABA-Biosynthese
→ ABA akkumuliert erneut
→ Sekundäre Dormanz induziert
→ Keimung gehemmt trotz ausreichender Feuchtigkeit
↓
Lösung: Abkühlung auf 20–25°C → ABA-Abbau → Keimung möglich
Praktische Relevanz: Bei Sommeraussaat in heißen Klimata → Direktsaat bei >30°C Bodentemperatur führt zu Thermodormanz → Keimausfälle trotz ausreichender Bewässerung.
Dormanz-Klassifikation Cannabis vs. Wildpflanzen
| Parameter | Cannabis (kultiviert) | Typische Wildpflanzen |
|---|---|---|
| Primäre Dormanz | Physiologisch (PD) | Physisch + physiologisch + morphologisch |
| Stratifikation nötig? | Nein (kein signifikanter Effekt) | Ja (oft zwingend) |
| Skarifikation nötig? | Nein (außer spezielle Genotypen) | Ja (bei hard seed coats) |
| After-ripening | Vorhanden (ABA-Abbau durch Lagerung) | Variabel |
| Thermodormanz | Ja (>30°C) | Variabel |
GA-Anwendung zur Dormanz-Brechung
Externe GA₃-Applikation (500–1000 ppm Soaking) kann physiologische Dormanz bei Cannabis reduzieren: - GA → DELLA-Protein-Abbau → SCL1/SCL2/GAI freigegeben → Keimungs-Promotor-Gene aktiv - Nützlich für kommerzielle Saatgutproduktion mit hohem Dormanzanteil - Nicht routinemäßig nötig bei gutem Saatgut
Anbau-Relevanz
- After-ripening nutzen: 1–3 Monate Trockenlagerung (15–20°C, 6–8% Samenfeuchte) → natürlicher ABA-Abbau → verbesserte Keimraten.
- Thermodormanz verhindern: Bodentemperatur bei Direktsaat <28°C halten; bei Sommersaaten in klimatisierten Räumen keimen.
- Genotyp-spezifische Dormanztiefe: Bei unbekannten Herkünften → Keimtest vor Hauptaussaat (10–20 Samen).
